Celia Pacquola – Delayed

4 Star

****

Celia Pacquola is yet another top Aussie comic who has relocated to the UK and once again is bringing her brand of merriment to the Edinburgh Fringe.

It’s been a couple of years since I have seen her show and as I had enjoyed previous ones was interested to see if her style had changed.

Not at all, just as I remember her, a very funny lady with a set packed with quality material able to relate to a wide age demographic too given the make up of the audience when I was there.

Starting with some dance moves to open Celia is off and the pace never drops until she finishes. She has the ability to make it seem like she is chatting to mates over a beer as her wicked sense of humour kicks in and information, and laughs of course, flow about her long distance relationship, a trip to Paris, Skype, lap top, mobile phone and bubble baths amongst many ports of call along the way before the closing out cracker of a anecdote.

Celia is a comic you should definitely see live and I’m sure seen once you’ll be back year after year.
